The Stories that Bind Us–A Must Read

In my internet wanderings this morning, I ran across this article about the importance of knowing our family history. Today, more than ever, family stories are being lost. Many times, we find that the younger generation is too busy carving out an income for their own family to sit and ask Grandma or Grandpa about their lives–their struggles and their joys.

The article is a bit long, but well worth the read. Hopefully it will make you stop and reassess your stories and motivate you to write them down. If you can talk, you can write. If you think you need help, let me know and I can get you started.

Now get your favorite beverage, settle into your favorite chair, and enjoy this read. I guarantee it will open your eyes  to the necessity of sharing generational stories.
