Memoir Writing Workshop
Telling our stories over the years has been fun, not only for us, but also for our children and grandchildren. Perhaps you have held a group of the little cousins spell bound with the time you went camping and met up with a rattler. Or the time Pop took everyone on the hayride in the rain.
Writing our stories down is important for more than one reason. First, the generations to come need to know the hardships and the joys that Grandma and Grandpa lived through. How did you handle tough situations? How did you accept disappointments?
Another reason has to do with healing. Writing our experiences helps us to ease old pains and comfort old wounds. By writing our story, we discover who we are and what legacy we are leaving for those who follow.
In memoir writing class, we will create a table of contents and experience different styles of organizing your stories. You will learn how to bring your story alive with vibrant imagery that paints word pictures for your readers.
Let’s get busy and write your legacy for your generations to come. Set up your own class of 5 writers minimum; fill out the form below. You will receive a response within 24-48 hours.
